If you’re longing for sandy beaches, sparkling waters and warmer climes this January, a new shop on Queen St. East may have the antidote to those winter blahs. Two Beach entrepreneurs have recently opened Caribbean Foods, a specialty grocery store offering items from Jamaica, Trinidad and other Caribbean islands.
Co-owner Jeremy Virgo prefers to call the store a “grocery boutique” where people can find those hot items normally found in airports or cruise ships.
