The Dinner Terrace is a lovely restaurant perched high above the ocean at the edge of a cliff.
The colonial-looking terrace is wide open and surrounded by the ocean on two sides. The restaurant is posh and classic: elegant table settings (tablecloths, napkins, plates, and chairs) are dressed in all white.
Meals are informal here. Strict dress codes call for men to wear long-sleeve shirts, long pants, and proper shoes.
Appropriate attire is also required for women.
Lunch starts at 11:00 AM. Take your pick of burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, and chicken wings. They can be washed down with rum punch or fruit smoothies.
In the evenings, you can dine under moonlit skies while being entertained by a live band.
A well-trained, attentive wait-staff will bring out fancy hors d’oeuvres followed by a 6-course dinner.
Executive chefs will tempt you with delicious dishes like Smoked Muscovy Duck, Curried Goat, and Tempura Shrimp Cocktails.
Demonstrating first-class service, Jamaica Inn’s general manager stops at guests’ tables during dinner to make sure guests’ are being well taken care of.
Non-guests of the hotel are advised to make reservations.
