Montego Bay, Jamaica - The “Art of Music” will be on display again as the Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival returns to Montego Bay for its 11th staging. The highly anticipated event is scheduled for January 24th-26th at the Aqueduct (opposite Rose Hall Great House) in Rose Hall.

The line up of international artistes for this year’s event includes Diana Ross, Anita Baker, and Billy Ocean. Etana, AJ Brown, and Marjorie Whylie, among others are local performers included in this year’s line up.

The three day musical event is expected to attract about 40,000 patrons as tourist arrivals have been increasing in the weeks leading up to the event. Walter Elmore, Executive Producer of the show said that “the whole idea behind this festival is to bring tourists to Jamaica in the slow period”.

Over the years, the festival has attracted patrons from North America, Europe and the Caribbean. Tickets for the event can be purchased online at, Islandstubs.com. Ticket outlets are also in Kingston, Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, and Mandeville.

Sponsors include, The Jamaica Tourist Board, Rose Hall Jamaica, Red Bull Energy Drink, and CVM TV. The Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival had its inaugural staging in 1996.
