Cash Plus Group Limited will continue to operate the Hilton Kingston hotel under the international brand, according to the company’s attorney, Harold Brady.
Brady told Wednesday Business that discussions were held with the American hotel management company and that the prevailing contract will remain in effect.
“There will be no changes,” he said.

2. World Wise application lacking - Cash Plus, FSC meet today

World Wise Partners is the only so-called investment scheme to have formally applied to the Financial Services Commission for a licence since a December ruling by the Supreme Court suggesting that all such schemes are subject to the regulatory jurisdiction of the FSC.
However, the FSC has asked World Wise for more information on the documents before its application can be fully processed. Both officials of the company and the regulatory agency confirmed yesterday.
The FSC has estimated that there are more than two dozen of these companies operating in Jamaica.

4. Cash Plus drama ...Carlos Hill and co-accused charged with fraud
Head of failed alternative investment scheme Cash Plus Limited, Carlos Hill, and his brother Bertram Hill were yesterday slapped with fraud-related charges along with Cash Plus’ Chief Financial Officer Peter Wilson, hours after the police revealed that over US$7 billion held in overseas financial institutions have been traced to the embattled Cash Plus boss.
Carlos Hill was charged under the Larceny Act with four counts of fraudulent conversion and four counts of obtaining money by false pretence. He was also charged under Common Law with one count of conspiracy to defraud.
Bertram Hill, who the police say is a director of Cash Plus, and Wilson have both been charged with one count each of conspiracy to defraud.
The three are scheduled to appear in the Half-Way-Tree Resident Magistrate’s Court Thursday.
