Another article I read while doing a bit of research taught me a highly valuable lesson about email marketing. I have a huge list of contacts that request for product updates and product info twice a week and I do that as that is how I market my products but recently I noticed a slight decline in my sales. It just never occurred to me that one possible reasons why my sales are slowing down is due to spam block. Thanks to Charlie Cook’s article that was featured on Internet Marketing News Watch, I would have never realised this.
Lesson learned: If you are into email marketing, MAKE SURE your clients are actually getting your emails.
Next thing to do is get my clients to remove me from their spam list. I don’t think some of them would go into that much trouble.
