“....those were the days (and nights) when Port Royal, Harbour View, Hellshire and Old Harbour were not seen as an obstacle course to be tackled at one’s peril, but as an extension of greater Kingston and St. Andrew. There were many and varied recreational entertainment offerings, not just casual places of leisure for the fabulous, as there was also a keen appreciation for their historical reference and reverence.”

Absolutely! Today’s kids shows suck; I think our generation had the best collection of kids shows since the days of the Flintsones and the Jetsons. Although, my years were maybe 2 or 3 before yours (I never got into Rocket Power or the Amanda Show...I still despise Spongebob); I grew up with Doug, Rugrats (long before Dil), Aah Real Monsters, Salute your Shorts! Hey Dude! Rocko’s Modern Life, Adventures of Pete and Pete, Clarissa Explains it All, Alex Mack! And I was lucky enough to catch the last few years of You Can’t Do That on Television. That’s what they need to bring back.
