Gary Player, the winner of 163 tournaments during his career, has been named Global Ambassador for “Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf.” Player’s two-year deal with Shell calls for commentary for three of Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf matches each year. Additionally, Player will play Jack Nicklaus on July 25, 2000, Golf clubs in Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf at Sunningdale in London.
