Born in Beirut - Lebanon on November 19, 1974, married and have 2 children Georgio & Maribelle. Growing up I enjoyed sports in general specially Handball. I joined the Lebanese Army Special Forces in 1994, where I served my country while continuing my studies in Architecture. While in the army I graduated and got my Bachelor in Architecture and was a member of the Lebanese Army Handball team and the Lebanese National Team.
In September 1998, I migrated to Jamaica and in 2006 I discovered by mistake a shooting discipline called IPSC. It was a hobby at first, but my fast improvement in shooting drew me deep into it and started competing at a very high Level, wining lots of local matches in Jamaica and internationally. My special forces training had a lot to do with my improvement in shooting.
Local shooters were interested in taking shooting courses with me and that was the beginning of a new phase in my life. I started training local shooters but now it is on a bigger scale, where I enjoy competing and watching my students competing at high level and wining their classes.
I am also the owner of a family restaurant called Chez Maria (http://www.chezmaria.com.jm/) in Kingston-Jamaica, where we serve Lebanese and Italian cuisine, it’s a very nice place to visit and enjoy the ambiance and the great food.
