Mr. Harding is a dynamic and brand savvy business leader with a wealth of experience and knowledge in the areas of strategic, experiential and tactical marketing, advertising, sponsorships, brand development, product positioning, partnerships development, negotiations and team leadership.

Mr. Harding began his career in the hospitality industry working in guest services followed by several years in advertising at various levels including senior account executive and creative production manager.

Harding was then hired as Marketing Manager for Grace Kennedy’s Internet Service Provider - Jamweb, before moving on to join the Business Development team at Grace Kennedy Remittance Services working on the marketing and strategic planning to grow the businesses of Bill Express, FX Trader and Western Union.

After Grace Kennedy, Mr. Harding worked with Red Stripe where he successfully managed the Smirnoff Ice Brand before being tasked with the responsibility of creative marketing strategies and idea generation for Red Stripe’s portfolio of global brands including Guinness, Smirnoff Ice, Red Stripe, Red Stripe Light, Heineken and Malta.

In 2004 he took up a position as Director of Marketing at Wisynco Group. In this role he championed many creative and cutting-edge marketing initiatives which led to the re-positioning and rapid expansion of the Wata, Bigga, Coca-Cola and Ocean Spray brands.

Harding is passionate about strategic development, building and maintaining world-class brands and creating an organisational culture where the staff is highly motivated.

In October 2007, Harding was seconded from Wisynco to the position of Advisor to the Minister of Tourism, with special responsibilities for Marketing and Investment.  He was then appointed as Deputy Director of Tourism at the Jamaica Tourist Board.

His most recent appointment is as Chief Executive Officer of Appliance Traders Limited, one of Jamaica’s largest and most well known trading companies. Harding states his overall objective as “becoming the best CEO that ATL has ever had”.

Harding served previously on the boards of the Jamaica Manufacturers Association, Harmony Cove Ltd.  and was vice-chairman of the Jose Marti School Board. He currently serves on the boards of Silver Sands Estates Ltd., Sterling Asset Management and the Urban Development Corporation of Jamaica.

Harding is currently pursuing his Masters at the University of the West Indies and He is married with 2 children.

ZACHARY Harding resigned yesterday as chief executive officer of Appliance Traders Limited (ATL), after almost a year in the job.
ATL Deputy Chairman Adam Stewart said the company regretted that Harding would no longer be a part of the ATL family but respected his desire to pursue personal interests and projects at this time.
